Guerrilla Marketing to Baby Boomers book





Well, I did it! I published my first book and I did it in good company. I partnered up with Jay Conrad Levinson (the original Guerrilla Markerter), and Michael Tasner ( to produce my first book, Guerrilla Marketing to Baby Boomers. I decided to write this book on marketing to Baby Boomers because there are so many of them and they are buying products for three generations. Baby Boomers are thinking about their childeren, themselves and their parents when evaluating their shopping trips. The Baby Boomer sector consists of aproximately 78 million in the United States alone. I list alot of Baby Boomers statistics in the first couple of chapters of the book.

The writing process took about 1  1/2 years. I thought that I would do it in 6 months, but that didn’t happen. During the first couple of months at the beginning I felt stunned, not sure what to do or write about after I committed to writing the book about marketing to Baby Boomers. Sometimes new projects just have to incubate in ones subconcious. It is amazing how ready I was after that incubation period. The mind is an amazing thing after you plant the seed of a certain thought; the mind draws from memories, ideas and inspirations to make it a reality. My mind pulled together alot information from various sources for the completion of this book. I became much more aware of the lifestyle and buying habits of the typical Baby Boomer.

It was a pleasure to work with both Mr. Levinson and Michael Tasner. Their help and guidence helped fuel this action packed book. One of the reasons why I wrote this book was because I have products that I invent and want to market them online. I have been on a learning frenzy about marketing online for the last few years. Along the way it has been fun, exciting and frustrating. Since I have always been a hands on ‘cook and a gardener’ type of person, technology really intimidated me. It has been a struggle alot of the time to get over that mental block, thinking that I couldn’t do computer technology, etc. But, I have been tenacious and very determined to make this happen for many reasons. The first thing a bought online that really got me started was the travel membership put out by Global Resorts Network. My husband and I love to travel, and this membership is perfect for us. Since I am a Baby Boomer, I thought about writing a book for marketers aiming their campaigns towards Baby Boomers. I figured that I could tell it like it is about marketing, and simplfy it for easier use. Teaming up with Jay Conrad Levinson was a great thing to do because he knows all about marketing. He wrote the first books on Guerrilla Marketing! I studied international marketing at John F. Kennedy College, so I have a background in marketing. I have been a voracious reader of business books, self development books and marketing books. My sales and marketing efforts helped a commercial landscape contracter triple his volume within three years in Silicon Valley, CA back at the turn of the millenium.

My main motive for all of this work, all of my others ventures and marketing efforts is to offer value to others. I want to inspire people to be more positive in their thoughts and actions. I believe, and it is a proven fact, that what you think about does come true. Thoughts are things. That is why I am currently developing Global Positive News Network. In the next couple of months I will be adding helpful guides and services to enable people to have their own online businesses.

I would love to see more people become financially independent via the internet. That is happening in the online industry on a daily basis. I see it all the time. The main thing in order to make this happen is to focus, have a strategy and a ‘never give up’ attitude.
