The owners of the Internet Lifestyle Network, Mark Hoverson and Vincent Ortega Jr, have decided upon an executive decision to increase the Global Resorts Network entry price. As both an member and affiliate of Global Resorts Network (GRN)I am not surprised by this decision. I have always thought that GRN was priced to inexpensively and was perceived by potential customers as a scam. This perception couldn’t be farther from the truth. GRN is rated by the Better Business Bureau as a AA. The inventory partner for GRN has been in business for 26+ years.
The resorts are timeshare properties that the owners of GRN have negotiated with the CEO’s of these resorts for blocks of rooms per month guaranteeing the deep discounted price be passed onto GRN members. I like to explain GRN as a Costco type membership. As a member of GRN, you have access to over 5,000 resorts worldwide, at deep, discounted prices. However, there is no annual maintenance fee, as there is with Costco. GRN is simply a platform similiar to AAA or Sam’s Club.
Here is the price increase for each of the three levels:
Silver is now $1,995 which allows 2 weeks of travel per year at the deep discounted prices.
Price will be $2, 995 as of December 1, 2013.
Platinum is now $4,995 which allows 10 weeks of travel per year at the deep discounted prices.
Price will be $7, 995 as of December 1, 2013.
Platinum Plus, will be named ‘Diamond’ is now $12,500 which allows 20 weeks of travel per year at the deep discounted prices.
Price will decrease to $11,995 as of December 1, 2013.
